Upholstery Training Opportunities:

The Cavanagh House is a nonprofit upholstery and sewing trades program. Our mission is to provide individuals, in need of financial stability, with the opportunities, training and support needed to learn these trades and gain a career. We are a paid training program. Our students are trained on both commercial and residential commissioned work.

We are a fully functional upholstery and sewing workroom. Students receive complete on the job training in both trades

We have a rolling admission for new students.

Our next event will be in March 2025. The Cavanagh House presents "REVIVE" Designer ShowHouse. Seven rooms beautifully designed and filled with reupholstered and vintage pieces.
